I was genuinely impressed with this company from start to finish, and that’s not something I say very often. Our first interaction was with Nick, who came by our house last Saturday doing door-to-door sales. As someone who works in professional sales myself, I probably pay more attention than most people to how someone presents themselves, communicates value, handles questions, and represents the company they work for. Nick did an excellent job in every one of those areas. Door-to-door sales is not easy, and unfortunately a lot of companies put people out in the field with very little training. You can usually tell within the first few minutes when someone has just been handed a script and sent out knocking on doors. That type of interaction can leave a bad taste in your mouth before you ever even consider using the company. That was not my experience with Nick at all. He was prepared, knowledgeable, professional, and committed to explaining the service clearly without making the conversation feel rushed or overly pushy. I was very impressed with the effort he put into his presentation and with the way he represented the company. Our technician, Josh, came out Saturday morning and actually arrived on time, if not a little early. That alone seems harder and harder to find these days. More importantly, he followed through on what had been promised during the sales process. Josh was professional, respectful, easy to talk to, and just seemed like a good ole hardworking guy trying to do his job the right way. He took time to explain what he was doing rather than simply showing up, spraying a few areas, and leaving. He pointed out some of the insects he found around the home, explained what they were seeing, and helped me understand how the treatment he was applying would affect the current activity as well as help prevent future issues. What impressed me the most was the outdoor treatment. We have roughly an acre of property, and I fully expected the treatment to mostly consist of spraying around the immediate foundation of the house and calling it done. Josh actually treated across the property and applied product up along the exterior walls of the home as well. He took his time and appeared to be very thorough with the entire service. That may seem like a small thing, but anyone who has used pest control, lawn care, fertilizer, or similar home-service companies probably knows exactly what I mean. There can sometimes be a pretty big difference between what is described during the sales process and what actually gets delivered once the technician arrives. You’re told about a thorough treatment or detailed service, and then somebody shows up, spends fifteen minutes on the property, and you’re left wondering what you actually paid for. That was absolutely not the case here. From Nick explaining the service and setting the expectations to Josh actually showing up and delivering on those expectations, the entire experience felt consistent. That tells me there is communication between the sales side and the service side of the company, which is extremely important and unfortunately not always common. I also appreciated that neither interaction felt robotic. Nick clearly cared about doing a good job with his presentation, and Josh clearly cared about doing the actual service correctly. Both were respectful, professional, and represented the company very well. Based on my first experience, I would absolutely recommend this company to friends and neighbors. They made a very strong first impression, and I’m actually looking forward to seeing how the property responds to the treatment and to our next service visit.
